I think Zoolander got a bad rap because it was one of the first comedies released after 9/11. There are lots of hilarious bits and some great one-liners in the film. Ben Stiller's previous directorial effort, Cable Guy, was also underrated, in my opinion. So, I'm interested in what other people think of the Zoolander and whether it is really universally hated.

and the petrol station gasoline fight, it's probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

It's a movie I've grown to like the more I've seen it. The "2001" parody scene made the flick for a geek like me. I think Will Ferrell and Duchovny's cameo almost stole the show, though.

Apart from the gasoline fight, this movie was just lame! I honestly wanted those 90 minutes of my life back. It doesn't help that I can't stand Ben Stiller. I mean, it's by no means the worst movie I've paid money for. Jaw Breaker takes that honor by a mile. God it was awful.

this was a movie that grew on me after several times. i just couldn't get into a movie about male models at first.

prolly seen it around 20-25x now, and it's still funny every time.
