anyone seen this? it's still airing on hbo right now- mostly act by act as opposed to the 4 hours in it's entirety.
you would think that a documentary on hurricane katrina, which has been so thoroughly broken down by the media, would have anything new to offer, but this film certainly did. aside from being absolutely heart-wrenching, it introduces new ideas and theories, and gave me a better understanding of just how poorly things were handled and how and why such incompetence came to pass. definitely worth checking out
