Film- Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

I was very delighted by this movie. It was fantastic, I'm so disappointed it did so poorly. John C. Reilly really nailed it, as did the supporting cast. Also, some great songs. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into the theater, but I was very impressed by the end of the film. There were some jokes that they just dragged on too long, but overall I thought it was hilarious. I'd easily give it an 8.5 out of 10.

waaaaaaaalk hard.

The only thing I liked about the whole thing was the song.

I take that back, I didn't even like the song.

I just liked the opening lyric: "Waaaaalk hard"

the rest of the song/entire movie wasn't impressive in the least bit.

i think they should make a sequel based entirely on the beatles...i was dying during that scene.

The 70s part was hilarious. The version I downloaded was the "unbearably long" (or whatever) version. I rented the DVD to watch with a buddy and he put on the theatrical version without my noticing. The theatrical version omits most of the 70s sequence, and when I realized that, I made my buddy restart the movie — the long version this time — and skip ahead to the 70s part.

I thought it was funny in an "airplane" silly kind of way. I guess thats how it was suppose to be.

Some key scenes for me - Jack White as elvis. Fucking hilarious. And the LSD/Beatles scene.

Major flaw- too much penis not enough vagina :D

I thought that was Ice T for a minute. I couldn't figure out why you would post a still of Ice T in this thread. My apologies to Tim Meadows.

Its in the middle of his "Dewey, you don't want none of this!!" Schpiel,
Thats why I posted it right under that...
