Has anyone else seen this supernatural hip-hop kung fu movie that they are showing on mtv? Apparently they took the already made movie and used hip hop and entertainment personalities such as Big Boi and Andre 3000 from Outkast, Mya, Tracy Morgan, Pat Morita, etc. to do the dubbing and added a hip hop soundtrack.

I don't even have regular cable anymore, but through some odd glitch I get MTV2. I was sitting at home last night and since I was bored I had done some K a little earlier (don't ask). But I flipped through the channels and could not figure out what was going on because I had heard nothing of this movie or it being on. It seemed different enough and quite insane last night while watching it, but I can't really trust my judgment on what is groundbreaking when I am on K. Someone walking into my apartment would have seemed mind-bending at the time. =)

So anybody else seen it? What do you think?

i saw it a few weeks ago, while high, and it was bad ass........actually very interesting.........wanna see it again

Visually, it was cool, but other than that, I thought it was kinda lame

I have the actuall version and it was good. MTV2 changed a few parts that were better before editing. The main character was actually trained not to attack his opponent, Its not how they portrey it on the MTV version that he doesn't want to get expelled. But it is true that he had gotten expelled from alot of schools. I think that if the main character basically had more balls it would have had been a much better movie. Peace out and Happy Trippen.
