It's New Year's Eve in the city of Terminus and chaos is this year's resolution. All forms of communication have been jammed by an enigmatic signal that preys on the fears and desires of everyone in the city. Told in three parts from three unique perspectives by three visionary directors, The Signal is a horrific journey towards discovering that the most brutal monster might actually be within all of us.


I've been reading about this film for months. While the plot seems to be very similar to Stephen King's The Cell,it still seems like it's going to be one hell of a movie. Since it's only going to be in limited release,I'm sure I'll have to wait for the DVD. *The Signal was written and made before The Cell came out in publication.

I finally saw this last night. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be, but it was pretty damn good.

I really liked the way they split it into three parts. One complete movie, but each part had a different feel to it. Especially Transmission 2, which was funny as hell. Every time you would get comfortable and start to laugh, it would take a dark turn. The plot was very similar to Stephen King's Cell, but that's where the similarities end.

um, i swear to god, when i watched this movie months ago, at one point i actually said out loud to ego_loss "You know who would like this movie? HisNameIsFrank."

i said that without ever seeing this thread.



and there are other movies i've said that about as well. i need to make you a list. you'll love it.
