Poltergeist still scares me

blood and gore isn't necessary to scare people..but then I prefer psychological thrillers

Ditto i loved poltergeist. LOL

Ill be watching this on DVD soon . Fuck ratings.

A bad movie, but i didn't hate it.
The story they tacked onto the very basic premise was rather stupid. They needed a lot more of the actual possession.
It had a couple moments, but they were gone in a blink, and led nowhere.

Overall it seemed like much was missing.

I am definitely gonna wait for this to come out on cable then!
According to my friends who have seen it (and all of them say it was shitty lol ) the truly scary thing about it is that they use the REAL possessed voice of Emily Rose during the "possession" scenes.
Thats about it.

Sounds like a great movie, it definitly doesn't need an R rating to get me to watch it. I'm constantly amazed at what passes for PG-13 these days, I sure as fuck don't think some of the stuff is appropriate for kids that age.

The trailer was better than the movie itself. I admit I got sucked in by the face melting bits and was disappointed by the feature. Not pissed off but wished I would have watched it at home.
