The Buried Secret

What did everyone think about the M. Night Shyamalan Documentary.
(The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan)

I think it was a little to eager to be dark and spooky. I love M. Night, but this should have been called a Mocumentary. But all and all enjoyable

hmm....what was it about? Sounds tittilating though LOL! What is this **buried secret*** he speaks of? Is it a metaphor for his coming out of the closet (in case he is a fruit?) Does he see actual dead people in real life? Does this buried secret have something to do with shovels,a cursed grave and his Indian roots? Was it hard seeing Mr. Shyamalans countenance in the dark setting of the film, as he has a tendency to blend in with the surrounding darkness? Am i asking too many annoying questions?:D
Please quench my thirst for more Bmores! i must know THIS SECRET!

<3333 =D

I didn't watch this, not being an American, but I beleive that M Night was actually involved in the production and the whole thing was a bit of a hoax, am I right?

It was called a "Documentary" on the Sci-Fi channel. When the Sci-Fi channel did one on the blair Witch Project it was called a 'Mocumentary"

Rumors are going around on the internet that it was more of a mockumentary than a documentary.

It can't be denied that some of the segments were so hokey, like the ouja board segment, and the one with the little boy in the mirror.

It just seemed really far fetched. I only watched it because I was bored. I'm not a huge fan of M. Night.

I watched about a half hour of it. The part where Adrien Brody gave the pre prepared responses that Johnny Depp talked about was pretty funny I thought.

The "Buried Secret" is that Night allegedly fell in a frozen pong as a boy, and was dead for 30 mins. Now he can talk to goes. These findings are un suported by Nights Publicist.

Was everyone whispering in the doco-moco-doco like every character does in every MNS movie?

The buried secrest of M.night shyamalan

Whos seen this?

What did you think of it?

shyamalans publicity stunt vs mockumenatry vs the real thing?

I saw it... Its a publicity stunt. He is a director that is only half as good as he thinks he is. This film is a prime example of him trying to be "creepy/secrative" but coming accross as a self absorbed ass. This "documentary" made me go from a slight liking of his directing styles to contempt towards him.

I can't fucking stand M. Night Shamalamadingdong or any of his crappy movies.

^^^then you probably just dont get it. 8(

I saw this documentary the other day , it was showing on HBO for the first time. It was definitely well done and very intriguing....everything seemed to mesh together at the end despite the directors lack of material and subsequent difficulties with the subject matter. Also looking at most of the comments in this thread I now totally understand why Mr. Shyamalam was very curt and intrepid and unwilling to cooperate (see people are already calling this a mockumentary or a "sham" when the truth of the matter is it wasnt even NIGHT who produced or did it he was only the subject matter and a very anxious secretive one at that!) why? Because Americans are so quick to doubt and call bullshit on everything. I dont blame him for feeling that way.

Thumbs UP for any Night fan! It also made me look at his movies in a more profound way than when I initially viewed them.

Yeah, that's it. Can we shelve this stupid phrase that seems to come out whenever someone has a dislike for something the masses eat up? Of course, what am I thinking? It's obvious I "don't get it" because I don't like it. 8)

Seems like an appropriate sentence to me. You don't get it, thats why you don't like it. I don't get why people like The Foo Fighters or gratuitous horror movies, I don't like them either, I guess because I don't get it.

I totally agree.

That's a very tired phrase. It means nothing.
