i watched a segment about this on 20/20. has anyone seen this?

Eric Steel's The Bridge, a documentary exploration of the mythic beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge, the most popular suicide destination in the world, and the unfortunate souls drawn by its siren call. Steel and his crew filmed the bridge during daylight hours from two separate locations for all of 2004, recording most of the two dozen deaths in that year (and preventing several others).

i too watched it the other night on IFC. i thought it was a very interesting and managed to avoid being condescending or preachy. i can't imagine the guts it takes to stand on the edge of the bridge and commit to jumping...

i was really amazed by the interview with the guy who survived jumping off the bridge. he gave really good insight to what the other jumps may have been going thru

^yah i saw it recently. it has some insane footage especially at the end. i really got... kinda tripped out by this film tho. i got real high before watching it and hearing the peoples stories n' what drove them to jump off a bridge i was like "whoa" i can relate to some of their struggles n' i kinda thought i too might be at that point one day....
