Film: The Alamo

Was it any good? Any opinions or comments on it?

I saw it at a free sneak preview. I am not a history lover, so I am probably the wrong person to give my opinion on this film, but I didn't like it very much.

When the most sympathetic character is a guy who gave his son away to be raised by a stranger instead of the kid's mother (his wife), it says a lot about your character development.

Also, and maybe this is how it really was, but the movie was basically them sitting around for two weeks doing jack shit, and then there is a huge battle in the last 15 minutes. The battle scene was great, but it was a long slow wait to get there.

Really boring, and definitely not worth seeing in the theaters. Worth a rental, maybe.

I just saw it and I did NOT like it. I hate how the made the Mexicans out to be the bad guys when it was really the other way around...
