it's a deal. but once the movie starts, i WILL NOT go get refills on the tub of popcorn.

now that that is settled, april 1st needs to arrive soon...

Beware the curse of Robert Rodriguez....though for some reason I enjoyed watching The Faculty. ;)

Stop focusing on Rodriguez. Frank Miller is the writer and co-director... it'll be very hard to go wrong with the creator of the comic book having that much control over the movie. You can see scenes in the trailer that are exactly the same as frames in the comic book.

I have the utmost faith in this movie.

Check out the site, it made me even more excited about it.

Hey it's cool man. Just don't be mad if the film fails to deliever the hype you've got for it.

Frank Miller, while respected in the comics world, does have Robocop 2 and 3 under his film writing belt.

should be interesting to see what he does with his own creation.

well, you should also consider that there are 3 directors in this film: quentin tarantino, robert rodriguez, and frank miller. tarantino is involved, similar to rodriguez being involved with kill bill vol. 2- and the curse of rodriguez totally destroyed kill bill volume 2.

Frank Miller is a god in the world of comicbookdom.

Sin City is a classic comic. I don't know how the movie will pan out.

Jessica Alba....my gooddddddddddddd. *droolage*

Word!!! Jessica's teh hotness :D

Look at the co-director, Robert Rodriguez. All of his movie's that i've seen have been complete shit.

Quentin Taratino is involved as well.....Whether or not u liked his last few movies......You cant deny the wicked unique touch he puts in his movies...

Film : Sin City (The New Tarintino Joint!)

First off, i'd like to say this movie looks FUCKING AMAZING. A new Tarintino joint presentation flick, complete with some really bigname actors who I think will help to boost this already amazing movie right to the top.

It was rendered mostly in black and white and based on the comic book called Sin City. Some characters (and objects, perhaps?) are in color, i'm sure there will be some symbolism that attaches to this but I haven't quite figured it out yet because it doesn't come out until APRIL 1st. So soon! What luck!

The cast of characters includes ; Bruce Willis, Benecio Del Toro, Elijah Wood, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourk, Josh Hartnett, and Brittany Murphy.

Directed by ; Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino!

"Sin City" is infested with criminals, crooked cops and sexy dames, some searching for vengeance, some for redemption and others, both. The film incorporates storylines from three of Miller's graphic novels including 'Sin City,' which launched the long-running, critically acclaimed series, as well as 'That Yellow Bastard' and 'The Big Fat Kill.'

You can check out a movie trailer here : http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/sin_city/480_hartigan.html

I won't include anymore in fear of spoiling anything for you guys.

This is the third "Sin City" thread that's been made, and one of them is on the front page of this forum. Did you search at all?! All you've written has been covered.

Looks like fun (understatement)

Hopefully too many cameos won't take away from the visuals and storyline. Sometimes it can get kind of crowded.

Anyone know if this is going to be something similar to his other colaborative projects (ex: From Dusk Till Dawn where it was almost like 2 movies instead of 1) and each director will have a block of time/characters to develop? I'm assuming such.
