scary movie 4? Would anyone even watch this? OK, 1 and 2 were good. But 3 was just a flop? and this ones not even a spoof on scary movies its a spoof on comic book movies so why even keep the name?!?! is anybody planning on seeing this piece of crap?

The first Scary Movie was kinda funny, but the last two have relied too much on pop culture references, imo. It's hard to believe that the mediocore Scary Movie 3 was directed by the same guy that did the Naked Gun movies. But seeing a good Leslie Nielsen gag was almost worth sitting through the damn thing. anyhow, trailer at the link below...

yeah, the first one was kinda funny. but the second and parts of the third that i saw were severely lacking in many departments.

Do you have a suggestion as to which un-funny ailment I could use to complete the sentence?

Perhaps we could conduct a poll to find out which ailment is suffered by the least number of people, thus minimising any offense that might be caused. According to the Office of Rare Diseases, Creutzfeldt Jacob Disease has the least number of sufferers (per capita) in the world.

For your benefit, you should disregard any earlier reference to rectal cancer and replace it with the term CJD. Of course this effort is entirely arbitrary, considering that if you actually know anyone with CJD, you may take offence to it.

I apologise in advance for any additional CJD-related offence.

On a related note, I've also just read that Sclerotic Myotropholympholipoadenomatous Renal Failure is also considered to be the rarest disease in the world.

As such, I can safely say that this film looks about as funny as Sclerotic Myotropholympholipoadenomatous Renal Failure.

i guess i'm the only one that has seen this movie. It had it's funny parts, and i can't really say I was disappointed, because I wasn't expecting that much from it. Anna Faris was hot as usual, and the opening scene with Dr.Phil and Shaq wasa quite funny. And in reference to other's comments, I think the 2nd one was the funniest by far. Even better than the 1st one.

These movies would be infinitely more funny if they didn't have trailers. Each SM trailer shows the best of each film, so by the time you see the films, the jokes have gone ciold.

Zucker hasn't done anything good in about 15 years. His run of brilliance concluded with the excellent Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear.

SM4: a generous 2 stars.
