Has anyone seen this movie yet? I thought it had massive potential, but after seeing it . . . well, i dont really know what to think just yet. I think I might need another viewing. I was just curious what everyone else thought...

I kind of lost faith in Guy Ritchie.

Haven't seen this one, but Swept Away was bad.

Ever since he got with Madonna, it's been downhill.

Saw the DVD last night. I think it's pretty good. Complex story, I always have to watch any film like this a couple times to really get everything, but I'm dumb like that.
I did notice that it is fairly humorless. Not really any comedy, even black comedy. Very unlike Lock, Stock... or Snatch.

Well, I finally watched this.
Being stoned while watching this is essential. I can only imagine that it would be agonizing whilst sober. Listening the the director's commentary is strongly advised. Apparently this movie is about the relationship between the ego and the sub-conscious or some philosophical/psychological mumbo jumbo.
Story is kind of convoluted in order to make their point. But there are some aesthetically pleasing moments. It's worth watching once, IMO.
