film: Primeval: "Worlds most dangerous serial killer"

Has anyone else seen the trailers for Primeval? They intentionally make it out to look like some sort of Texas Chainsaw Massacre type flick about "the most prolific serial killer in history" with "over 300 kills." The last trailer I saw they were comparing the killer in this movie to Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac.

Sounds pretty cool, right?

it was really funny though, cuz me and ego_loss were sitting on the couch watching the commercial, which we had seen a few times before, and I was like "How loose do they mean when they say it's based on a true story? Cuz I don't have a clue who they're talking about!"

and then he looked it up and was like "Are you fucking kidding me?!?!"


it sure is gonna be funny when this thing opens and people are pissed.

lol, i told my BF that its about a crocidile and now he is all into the movie. he didn't want to see it when he thought it was about a person. i have a feeling he is in the minority...

They said on TV in the movie previews that the killer wasnt even human. Made me say WTF?! I didnt know a crocidile or alligator could be a serial killer.

they started showing new previews yesterday that breifly mentioned that the killer is a crocodile. still... i'm sure many people will go this weekend having not seen that particular preview and be very pissed when they find out it's about a fuckin reptile.
