I don't know about anyone else, but the original film gave me watery childhood nightmares for years. I can't even watch Crimson Tide without getting squeemish about the thought of being trapped in an underwater room!

It's had a bit of a panning from the critics and isn't doing too well at the box office, and I suppose the old-school cast (Kurt Russell, Richard Dreyfus) are reflective of it's remake status... but does anyone plan on seeing it?

See it at an IMAX theatre, absolutely incredible. Not the deepest movie but good summer fun. Russell(as always) and Lucas are the standouts in this one.

Also, it was near St. Louis that I caught the movie.

SuperMan Returns is also being released on IMAX next month.
