im watchin this documentary on msnbc right now, looks interesting. never knew so many kids flocked to this place who are homeless/addicted to heroin...sucks

Oops, I DO remember this now. It was really fucked up, like a whole subculture of street people slumming around town trying to find their next hit. One of the girls was trying to get a job or something?

That was eh' 1-2 years ago in NYC, she couldnt cop dope some morning so I helped her out. Your basic transent dope FIEND.

Good show though I have seen in a handfull of times.

I wonder if she is still alive?

im in the military (army reserves) and ill tell you what i can see from that video anythings better then living on a cardboard box...army provides selter (heat/air conditioning) food (some good food actually) and u can make 1000+ a month for active duty ..better then having to bag ur way threw life and having to worry about how your going to get ur next meal..so anyone with common sense would

Portland is very homeless friendly. There are tons of missions and soup kitchens and the cops don't really hassel them that much and people really pay out to the homeless there. I've heard stories.

I'm from portland and have seen that documentary. There are a shitload of homeless kids there but as someone else said, there are also a lot of places that look out for the homeless so it's not as harsh as you might think. Heroin is everywhere in portland.
