ive never IVed but..

as a IV H user, what do you think of the portraial of the guy in Permanet Midnight? he who wrote the Alf character..

that shit made me dream all night about the sweetes syringes and woke up totaly alive, just wishing i could do some of that juicy stuff meself.

I dont think that was the purpose of the movie. Go watch Requiem then come back.
Ben Stiller was surprisingly good in this flick though, I love when his kid is getting born, and he is in the bathroom, signing his name on the wall w/ his own blood. Very neat scene.

^Agreed great scene.

But that was about it. The flick failed to capture any of the despair and humor of the book. Who thought a movie about doing drugs could be so boring. It just wasn’t entertaining.

Mario Bello is hot!

I thought the movie was a tad short. The story never totally developed enough to suck me in. Still, it was humorous seeing the clashing of drugs with the life of a young professional. Apparently, Permanent Midnight is about the creator of Alf, which always did seem like a wierd psychdelic creation anyway. Two and a half stars...

hehe, i dont think that was the purpose either.. the night after i saw i just had that dream, what you want me to do about that? im fixated with the idea from time to time.

i have watched Requiem, much better movie in many ways. the scene when they shoot up for the first time and put on that Vinyl record and the black guy falls down on that pillow, well that scene changed my life. i started make music because of that very beat. and its been 3 years now.

i just like when you can pick and choose what effects of drugs you want, like in a movie, i can pick out the nice part and fuck the downside 8)
