I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about

and not One Fine Day,since they asked about party scenes,djing,etc. If this is the movie you meant,KYROLLS,there were a few scenes with drugs,parties and djs,but it's more of a drama concerning the dark side of drug use and the loss of a loved one. So,if you're looking for this movie to be like Groove,Human Traffic or Go,then no It's not worth you buying.

Great movie... kind of out there in terms of drugs and reality, but a great watch none the less...

The scene where he is playing to the crowd as the sun rises makes your heart melt...

I think HisNameIsFrank is right, One Perfect Day is the movie title.

I've seen it. It was ok. Certainly shows the dark side of drug use...

Music was a big part of the movie though, and the creation and reception of music was a big theme if my memory is serving me correctly.
