Chasing my tail.
I was lying in bed the other day and I stuck on the box to find this on.

Always had a soft spot for Doris Day so I watched it and really enjoyed the whole film too.

Lots of funny moments and a sweet ending. Anyone else seen this?

I think I saw it as a kid.

If you liked it you should see the original, "My Favorite Wife", with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. That's a classic...

My Favorite Wife was OK. Not nearly as good as The Awful Truth.
My gripe with My Favorite Wife is that it's one of those movies that would have been only 15 minutes long if the main characters had been better at communicating with each other.
"Look, honey, there's something I need to tell you." (ring, ring!!!) "Oh, stay right there while I answer the door!"

I thought "The Awful Truth" was much better too.

It clued me in as to how *good* Irene Dunne was at comedy. The scene of her singing and dancing in front of Grant's society friends is priceless...

That seen was amazing. Irene Dunne is really under-rated. Have you seen Theodora Goes Wild?

No I haven't but the IMDB entry sounds interesting. I noticed that it's going to be on TCM in February so I'll try to catch it then...
