I just saw this movie tonight, found it very interesting. I really like how it centers on the theme of loneliness and how devastating it can be. This is a theme I've seen in a few recent movies I've watched (Taxi Driver), though this film was a bit more twisted, but in a cool way. Just wanted to hear other's thoughts and interpretations about this film.

lol, yeah, about the same reaction I had. It was on again last night... Didn't watch it again though, those dolls are pretty creepy and I was trying to get to sleep.

I love love love this movie. I love how twisted Mays character is and the ending is just superbly creepy.

Evidently not many people have seen this movie, but I would definitely recommend it.

The plot (taken from imdb) is: Psychological horror about a lonely young woman traumatized by a difficult childhood, and her increasingly desperate attempts to connect with the people around her.

if you're a fan of Angela Bettis(which i am), you need to check out Lucky McKee's Sick Girl from the 05 Masters of Horror series.
it also stars Misty Mundae aka Erin Brown, who has quite a cult following.

It was very good, but extraordinarily disturbing, especially the end.
Jeremy Sisto, who played Brenda's troubled brother Billy in Six Feet Under is in it, and he's always good. The actress who plays May is great, too, and very pretty.
Not for the fainthearted. 8(

I saw this a few years ago and liked it alot. Never really hear anyone talk about it though, which is sad. It was a pretty weird and effective movie. 3 1/2 stars easily.

funny, sexy, creepy. well written, and well acted. dorky in a low budget made for tv kind of way, but great for what it is. infinitely better than ginger snaps and buffy etc. lots of fun 4/5
