Film: Love Object

Name me that film!

I watched a film a while ago and loved it but cant remember the name of it.

It's about a guy who becomes obsessed with a girl at his work and buys a sex doll to replicate her and makes it look just like her.

I think its got the same producer or director as American Psycho.

Any ideas?

I think you can sctrach director. Besides "American Psycho" Mary Harron hasn't directed or produced a film that wasn't a documentry or a film based on true life events.

Although the plot summary on IMDB doesn't sound like what you described, I'll be damned if there is another film with obsessions of silicone and real life women.

It's an excellent film. It really gets inside the weird world of temp office work. Highly recommended. Stylized in a good way, and very bleak. If you liked One Hour Photo, you would like this.

I'm in Canuckistan, and was able to get it at the very commercial video rental place right around the corner.
