Aye, the comic by Alan Moore is amazing. The amount of detail to Victorian literature is amazing.
The movie is The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in name only -- it sacrifices any and all the intellect of the comic because Hollywood assumes you're a wanker that only watches films because Indiana Jone's dad is in it.
