3. Seth Rogan is a one track actor. He can drop a line well but the emotional highs and lows of this character are beyond him. Paul Rudd and he should have swopped roles.

I take it you never saw Freaks and Geeks then. Seth played the quiet, scornful burnout with sublime perfection.

What do you mean "the highs and lows of his character are beyond him"? I thought that he did a fine job. It wasn't supposed to be some kind of huge dramatic transition for his character. If you are expecting high art, maybe you should stay away from future Judd Apatow projects.

Either way, I'm not trying to convince you that it was a great movie or that you are wrong for disliking it. In fact, I'm glad that you can provide decent arguments for your point of view. I respect that a helluva lot more than people who can't get beyond "I liked it because it was a good movie" or "I hated it. It blew".

I was skeptical when I first heard of this movie. I thought it be some story that tries to be funny but also teaches morals. Not so.

This movie is one of the funniest pothead movies I've seen in a long time! Tons of quotable lines. Lots of jokes that carry on in the whole movie, meaning more than just stupid one liners (the beard jokes).

And yes, they keep the baby, but if Heigl would've gotten rid of it, it kinda would've defeated the whole story.

I loved it!

Do some bong rips and watch KNOCKED UP!

P.S > My gf doesn't get high at all and even she thought it was hilarious!

Jeez did you get pink eye too? No. I'm just really HIGH!!

All of Seth Rogan's films work because he's like an everyday man. He doesn't fit the profile of "good looking actor" or even "actor" at all. I love every bit of dialogue that comes out of his mouth. He's fucking hilarious without even trying. I never thought after seeing him in Donnie Darko that he would blow up to be the next big thing. Who knew? I'd watch this guy in anything.

To anyone who enjoyed this film I must recommend "Juno", which is in theaters now, and is even better then "Knocked Up" to my pleasant surprise.

I truly thought this film sucked majorly. It wasn't that funny, Rogan is just truly boring in it, unlike him in Virgin. Don't waste your time on this garbage, go see Juno.

greatspacecoaster...i am looking forward to that movie, but really couldn't stand ellen page in hard candy, she really ruined it for me...hope she isn't as much as a turn off in juno

as for knocked up....cute film, but not nearly as worthy of the adulation it gets. it isn't that great. just cute and funny. bored at times, laughed at times. that sums it up.

I thought Juno sucked really badly. But maybe because there is something about todays teen crowd that makes me want to decapitate any teen I see.

Knocked up!

One of my favorite comedies ever. I laugh my ass off every time I watch it, even one time I watched it two days in a row and it was still funny as hell to me. All the actors just have great chemistry together, it shows. I loved it.
