Film : Kill Bill Vol.2

Well saw it yesterday wasnt soo packed. My opinion about this movie is wierd, i thought it coulda been alot better. it may have been i was getting usta every final story has a huge ending or something specatular. i wont put any spoilers in here. it was a good movie but not what i thought it was gunna be not nearly as violent as the first one.

I am wetting myself in anticipation for this one.
I heard Tarantino's got a whole host of spin-offs planned, including an anime series and a feature length about Vivica Fox's daughter

i refuse to pay to see this movie.

i snuck in 3 times to see the first one, and have bought a bootlegged version of the official release ...

i will be doing the same to volume 2.

i MAY buy the DVD. but i refuse to fall into the trap of seeing a movie cutin two and then a DVD with BAREBONES just so that i can do it all over again in a month.

fuck that.

I saw this last night, I definately enjoyed it. It was more focursed on plot and character development instead of action. I'm a huge fan on Anime absolutely loved the movies as one. It should have been one epic movie, instead of two incomplete parts. I loved the comedy in vol 2. The old master was fucking classic...

What everyone think of the Tarantino / Jet Li flick coming out "soon"? I guess it is going ot be called Jet Li's Hero? It supposedly won a lot of awards for its runs in Asia. Should be interesting...

The story of the anime prequel is just a rumor, however KillBill vol3 with the focus of the story on Vivicas daughter coming back for her own revenge is gonna happen or atleast thats what QT was stated in recent interviews. Don't expect it anytime soon cause he has said that if he does make the film it will be in 15yrs to make it more real. He is gonna do some shoots with just the lil girl over the next 15yrs to get the real age progression but take this all with a grain of salt. QT is known for telling reporters many stories that never come together. Khrist how long now have us die hard QT fans been waiting for the "Vega Brothers" movie he teased us about.

I saw KillBillVol2 last night in a packed house with way to many stereotypical people being very loud and talking at the screen, I don't think I enjoyed it as much because of the crowd I saw it with. Goddamn fucking people need to shut the fuck up in the cinema. While vol.2 is much better than anything that has been in the cinema latley it was not as good as it would have been the way QT wanted it as one big 4 hr epic. Harvey Weintstein was the one who insisted on cutting it into 2 films. I guess those LOTR's movies made Miramax make KillBill its cash cow. I hope they issue a dvd with both volumes put together but I doubt it.

I saw this today... I liked it a lot. The old master was definitely the best part of the movie. The second part wasn't quite as gratuitously violent as the first, yet it was very engaging.

The end was slightly anti-climactic, but it was dope nonetheless.

Vol 2 was a good movie.

but that's it.

a good movie.

some inconsistencies.

but some amazing parts, too:

1) Elle vs The Bride
2) Bill cuttin' the crust off sandwiches
3) the old master
4) Elle's relation with the old master
5) Buried Alive
6) Elle's poetic "ending"

In fact, Elle was the best part of the movie.

but all-in-all.... not as good as Vol 1... and no it's not b-c Vol 1 was bloodier... it's b-c it was funnier, more shocking, more interesting, better paced, better alluding to classics, better banter...

Daryl Hannah seems hot again after her role as Elle. She was very bad ass even with her demise. The thing in the briefcase was genuis & shocking.

It should have stayed as a whole 4hr epic.

Kill.Bill.Volume.2.SVCD.TS-TCR <---how much you willing to pay?

The movie was good. I dont know if i would sit for that long to watch it again though. jet lei's new movie "Hero" looks awsome though!

I dunno, i really thoguht this movie was terrible. Just a bunch of filler for story really, and the final "battle" with bill.....cheap.

I just saw this movie today. I loved it.

I love the cliche "Chinese martial arts movie" camera techniques and dialogue when The Bride was training with the old master.

And, ohhh the irony surrounding Elle's demise... Brilliant.

it was definitely anti-climactic.

i'm glad we snuck in ....

i definitely enjoyed it. true, not as violent as the first but the story picked it up. i love how tarantino fucks with you in the end. throughout the whole journey, you are on *beep*'s side in her mission to "kill bill". then she finally gets to him, and....WTF?!?! what the fuck now? heh.

yup, the bride v elle the driver was sick too. darryl hannah is way more hotter now that she can kick ass. :) and yeah, the old master was fuckin badass, totally nostalgic. with music and everything.

im waiting for this one to come out on dvd so i can buy the double pack (vol. 1 and 2).

what?

you're always on Beatrice's side.

Bill is a loving father, but he was a jealous childish bitch. who only killed her (or tried to) b-c he thought she left him for some dude.

in no way were you ever swayed from Beatrice's side.

but you're not the first person to imply this.

maybe if you explain yourself a bit, as to when and why your opinoins on the matter change, maybe i missed something....

great part :)

very interesting movie. closed the story well, but definitely not what i expected.

I was disappointed in the movie. I like the background information it gave on the characters, but I felt (since it was supposed to be one movie that was separated into 2 parts) that it should've been more cohesive with the first film. There were parts that I really liked, but IMO this film was NO WHERE near as good as the first film. The fight scenes lacked the intensity and frequency the first film had. Not that SOME of them weren't good, just not upto par with the first volume.

I liked this better because of the character development and plot as opposed to the first movie which was more a cartoonish, manic, over the top slugfest in the anime/kung fu movie style.

Both were great though.
