The answer is yes.

This movie came out when I was huge into the original He-Man figures (oh so many decades ago...). I thought it was awesome. I was disapointed that there weren't more characters actually based on the figures though. I know if they made a live action today, it would be 10X better than the original.

I loved that movie when it came out. I was always a fan of that old dude that played Skeletor, he kinda reminds me of the guy who played Lord Dooku. same guy? also, I always joked that Courtney Cox's great acting in this movie is what launched her into Ace Ventura and Friends. :)

there is always hope! everything gets remade at least once, Excorist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Transformers, the new TMNT live action movie. I even heard a remake of Alien was shut down before it started. whew. I don't know if people would accept that one.

so if they remake Masters of the Universe, who would be He-Man?

its funny that you made this thread, my BF made me watch this a few days ago. i thought it was laughably bad. but i never got very into he-man.

what does skelator say at the end of the movie? i wasn't paying a whole lot of attention, but it angered my BF. he started running around screaming "15 years, i never fucking knew that." it was like he was in shock :\

Nah. Frank Langella was Skeletor; Dooku was Christopher Lee. I could see a vague resemblance, though...

By the by, if you're a fan of Langella, the man was probably at his best in the 1979 version of "Dracula"...At least, that's what my old lady says. ;)

drifting slightly, he played a great quilty in the (1997) lolita.
