Has anyone seen this?

You can feel a little Matrix, you can feel a little Minority Report, but though this is the case the movie is definately unique and has an original structure. I really enjoyed this movie and was really impressed with what I saw. The story line was risky yet I thought the movie pulled it off.

The action scenes were incredible, a unique style of gun battles with moves that are out of this world, I was so stunned with the action sequences it was not funny, 3 thumbs if you know wat I mean.

Definately recommend this movie, great stuff

I was distinctly unimpressed... The gunfights were amazing, but I couldn't sit through the rest of the standard same old same old action/sci-fi nonsense.

I thought it was pretty good, it had enough substance to keep me interested for two hours. It's a pity that it's one of those movies that no one has heard of, it deserves more attention on than that.

Out of curiousity on the attention side of things, how come this didnt come onto Australian cinemas? Was it out on US theatres or no? I thought it was definately worth it and would of done well, top stuff again.

Apparently it was on for a little while, had no publicity then went away relatively quickly. The poor US box office attention it recieved meant it went straight to DVD.

It was OK, but couldn't hold my attention. I ended up turning it off and went to do something else. I'm kinda like that with movies though, its really not interesting me i won't watch the rest, though i should.

The fight scenes did seem pretty cool though,

it wasnt bad.....i thought the concept of a society in which feeling is a crime was pretty cool, as was the idea of a martial art based on gunplay. It wasnt bad, but a better screenplay and director and so forth could have made it amazing.

Basically the premise was good and very thought provoking, and it could have been used as a platform for social commentary as well.......it just wasnt executed well is all. It wasnt bad at all, but it just didnt realize its potential.

I liked the film, although the ending was kind of dissapointing.
It probably would've been better if the famous actors were only the main characters.

Loved the film,thought Sean Penn deserved a little longer than 10 mintues though.Brilliang concept and i reakon some of the fight scenes rivalled or even bettered those in the Matrix.

Still love it. Rates with Dog Soldiers as one of the great under-the-radar action movies.

This movie had the absolute most simple storyline, incredibly obvious symbolism, and pretty crappy acting

Saw about 90% of it, and was unimpressed. I found the emotionless aspect of this future society interesting, but the ending was far too unrealistic IMO, even for a sci-fi movie.

However, I must give props to the fight sequences; the director knew how to pull them off with style. After I saw this, I knew Christian Bale would have no problem filling Batman's cape and cowl.
