^ That guy who played the bad guy in the new psycho has the coolest laugh...

If you can find it watch a movie called Clay Pidgeons which had him in it as well... Fucking awesome movie...

hmmmm, don't really know what to make of this.
Willy wonka is definetly one of my alltime classic childhood movies. It's just so 70's and the whole movie carries the feel of the era, yet you forget about it when you're watching it

I wonder if they'd still keep the 70's style.

Maybe somethings are better left alone

Though this has got me thinking now. I wonder if they'll ever do a remake of the Labrynth.

Labrynth can never be remade, that movie scared me when I was younger.

it's my first memory of watching a video cassette I think, it had this cool previews of another movie with these weird animals like elephants making strange noises.. cant think of what its called but I'll find my tape and look :D

i haven't read up on anything about this movie. but i think since Tim Burton's directing (legend) and Johnny Depp's starring, this has the potential to be great!

as i said i have no idea what's going on but i'm expecting that Burton is going to give this piece his own distinct quirky edge, which will probably distinguish it from the original 'Willy Wonker'. that's why i'm looking forward to it so much, to see what he does with it, how he makes it his own.

i'm i huge fan of the original too, but i dont expect this will degrade it in any way. that is aslong as its done with respect and enough innovative creative vision (that i personally believe Burton possesses) it'll be awesome.

like i said, cant wait! =D

if you look in the Movies thread you'll see 1234 posted some behind the scenes photos of the wonka factory and in true Burton style it looks fractured.... it's gonna kick arse...

One thing.. This will never be topped.

I don't think Depp (no matter how good I think he is) could be a better Wonka than Gene Wilder. Naturally I'll reserve judgement until I see it.. I just can't imagine anything being better than the original version. I'll wait and see :)
