Whats the deal with the guy in the bunny suit, like at the end of the movie, when the guy goes into the hospital, he passes by a room, and theres a guy in a bunny suit? its fucking insane.

I am kicking myself so hard for not going to see this at the movies. I remember thinking that it would be just another shitty teen slasher flick and avoiding it.

Well I picked it up from the video store the other day and it is now one of my favourite horror films. Fucking great movie. Best black humour since Very Bad Things.

As everyone else has mentioned there were a few scenes there that were extremely cringe worthy - the shaving scene in particular - fuck :) The dog ripping the chick apart wasn't much fun to watch either - great horror...

I found myself exclaiming out loud at the TV during a few of the more intense scenes.

And it has been done to death in this thread but...

"Pancakes" :)

Ive ranted about this film somewhere, i don't know where but somewhere, and I think its good, but two things annoy me:
1. The use of the stoner as a plot device and not a character
2. The scene with the pleasuring under the sheets, the result creeps me out.

I remembering seeing this for the first time SOO stoned and drunk with some good friends. We were pleasantly surprised :) The rotten fruit were the best!

I loved the part where the dood starts to celebrate about how he lived through it :D

I thought it was a pretty entertaining movie. It was nice to see Shaun from Boy Meets World acting again.

I watched this movie high last night and if freaked the hell out of me. Especially the part when the guy finds his girlfriend in the shack and the disease has practically run its course, she looks completely dead, there's a dog gnawing at her insides, and then she turns and looks at him, and you see she's still alive. *shudder*. I'm definately going camping and bringing this movie with me and watching it high around a campfire. Scary as hell.

I was bored when I saw it in the theaters, so I figured "what the hell." Ended up thoroughly enjoying it. Very campy, but twisted and bloody and ruthless when it needed to be, with a great ending. The dvd extras were hilarious too, especially the family version of the film.

I think you need to be a horror fan to truly appreciate it on all of its wonderful levels, though.

I don't know how this movie slipped past the MPAA with so many graphic scenes.
As far as scary, this movie was definitely NOT scary. Disturbing, yes!
I still cringe at the scene when the girl shaves her leg.

You apparently are not a fan of humor, either.

I don't need you to tell me what's funny and what's not, that's for sure. It was woeful. You call that humour, I call it shithouse. Different strokes, yeah?

^^^ thankyou.

i liked the film (as an old skool, evil dead style horror fan), but i can see why people might not.

sybaritic: perhaps some people just don't like things on face value.

I watched some making-of-the-movie special, and they talked about him playing the roll. There was one story when he was covered in blood (at the end of the movie) and was just chillin, walking around near where they were filming, and stumbled across a campsite of teenage girls who all knew him from Boy Meets World. They all started screaming when they saw Shaun drenched in blood looking like some serial killer and didn't believe him when he said he was shooting a horror movie.

Classic :D
