Breakin- funniest film ever?

Last night I was at my local establishment where they play really good funk and fusion with live bands and stuff. Anyhow they have a projector running with movies and it just so happened to be:

BREAKIN!!!

I've never seen this before but it now rates (even without sound) as one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It is so hardcore 80's and has the best costumes and some really good breakdancing.
The acting and plot are of the 'so bad it's good' variety, I'm laughing to myself just thinking about it.

If you've seen it then this is the place to put your homages to what is possibly THE BEST FILM OF ALL TIME. If you haven't seen it then do yourself a favor

Not sure if u know, but the "Popping" in this movie is still consdered legendary by today's standards. Boogaloo Shrimp (Turbo) was one of the OG's of Funk Styles and still kicks ass.

Also, one of the dancers in the movie was the guy that taught Michael Jackson how to dance. His name is Bruno Falcon AKA Pop'n'Taco.


P.S. "You Got Seved" is a load of shite. Blatant uninspired rip-off.

Breakin was the theme of an electro clash party I went to last year. Quite fun.

But, to answer your question, I think 'Showgirls' gives Breakin some competition for the title.

I think it may now be my quest in life to make evryone I know see Breakin. Haven't heard such great things about Electric Booogaloo, but will definitely have a look at it.

Kind of makes you wish there had been a Breakin' 3:All Your Dance Are Belong To Us. There was an excessive use of sweatbands back in the early 80s.
