It's from New Zealand.

Our two interests are crazy, evil killers, aliens, zombies etc (think early Peter Jackson) and sheep.

The only surprise is that this film took so long to be made.

YESSSS!!!! I had to buy a Canadian copy of that movie before it was released in the U.S., but I had rented many years ago and laughed myself stupid. Peter Jackson needs to make a sequel!
