I couldn't find the other thread about it even though I did a search. I did look on imdb and Justin Lin co-wrote and directed "Oldboy" which I've heard about. I can't wait to see it.

My husband and I paid to see Better Luck Tomorrow when it came out in the theaters. It mirrored our lives so much as Asian kids growing up in urban USA (minus the murder). We could get away with practically anything just because we got good grades. Like the movie said, "our grades were our passports."

I totally loved this movie. Excellent storytelling and an excellent cast. It's great to see a rich cast of talented Asian actors, as it gives me a refreshing break from the typical Hollywood caucasian OC "in Crowd" that's seen in so many teen coming-of-age films and Fox teen soap operas.
