I really liked this film actually.. I didn't have high expectations for it, but being a big will ferrel/vince vaughn/luke wilson fan ( old school) I saw it. It was much much funnier than I expected, very visually appealing (tons of style), GREAT cameos and a great story. I really enjoyed it a lot.

see, now i TOTALLY LOVED this film...and i like wil ferrel okay, but he's not my favorite. i thought it was one of his better characters.

and yeah...brick...what a great character! such a change from the dickhead he played in "bruce almighty".

i also enjoyed all the extra characters from vince vaughn, ben stiller, tim robbins, and luke wilson.

I actially watched this before dodgeball, and it ruined dodgeball for me, it didn't even get a laugh after that.

As a viewer of Friends 8( I didn't find this movie to be that entertaining.

I just don't really get into SNL humor though, often.

I find it interesting how varied people's opinions have been on this film. Some thought it was the funniest film they've ever seen, others didn't think it was funny in the least. However, the majority of people in the poll gave it with all 4 stars which is rare for a comedy.

dont get me wrong, i love will farrell, but i think that every actor has a choice to make: risking that a movie is gonna suck, or believing that a bunch of middle school kids are gonna spend all their allowance to see it four times in the theatre. i only had to see it once on video to realize this movie was meant for middle and high school kids that dont know the difference between a "good" movie, and a "movie thats so horrible, you'll want to slap your mama"

Ended up walking out of this flick. It started out hilarious and then proceeded to melt into something that resembled the most repetitive of SNL skits. Apparently I can only stand Farrell for about 30 minutes at a time. The news intro sent me into stitches, and Farrell talking to his dog was amusing, but after that, it became pretty mediocre real fast.

i didn't see this until now, but it seems the majority of people on bluelight ignore threads for movies/whatever they didn't like so i wouldn't trust the result so much.

i thought the movie was entirely stupid. then again i don't think i've found about 90% of will ferrell to be funny. at all.
