Film: A Midsummer Night's Rave (merged)

Has anyone seen this rave-version of Shakespeare's classic? I just saw it the other day. I'm curious to hear what others think of it...

I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it. Of course, it was *loosely* based on the real classic (which is my favourite shakespeare) but it was fun picking up the charcters and storylines. Definitely not classic cinema, but a bit of fun.
I loved the khandi-kid girl that wouldn't shut up.

The khandi-kid girl talker was funny, I think we've all met someone like that. I thought Puck was well done also.

I remember reading a thread on this movie awhile ago.... when it was still in-the-making. I'm assuming this is something that was never in the theatres but just went straight to video? I wasn't even aware it was out yet! I'd love to watch it though :D :D

Midsummer Night's Dream was one of my favorite Shakespeare plays (Romeo and Juliet being #1, naturally)

I may just have to rent this :D

Anyone seen "A Midsummer's Night Rave?"

Supposedly it's an adaptation of the Shakespeare play, but takes place at this rave way out in the country. I only saw the last half or so, but I thought it portrayed a rave experience (back in the day when they were real) pretty well. I really thought the actors were rolling, and it was much more entertaining to see them interact than in "Go." Just wondering if anyone has caught this movie, and what did you think.....

Some of it was pretty cheesy of course...it had the feel of a "made for cable" movie.
