Filling RX at a different pharm than orginal pharm?

But a quick background. I tried one of those online consults thing, it worked (too much money though), got an RX for 10mg hyrdo (though interestingly it doesn't say what the other component is or how much), and I ate all the goods, now it's time for a refill. Can I saunter down to the local CVS and fill it or do I have to have it refilled from the prescribing pharmacy, which btw, is in different state? I'd like to be able to go to the local pharm seeing that it will only take one day, whereas, the other way could take 2-3 days?
Any advice?
 
The pharmacist will call the doctor if ANYTHING looks weird or out of order. If they call and talk to one you will be fine, if not forget it. These guys behind the counter that wear the coats.....people don’t give them enough credit. They are not stupid and they don’t typically risk their jobs to hook people up.
 
Well, in general you can go to a different pharmacy for refills- they just call the pharmacy you went to first and it gets transferred right then. No problem. I guess for you, though, it's a matter of whether it's a legit pharmacy operation or not.
 
Here in GA it's a NIGHTMARE to get shit refilled at a pharmacy different than the one that originally filled the prescription...especially highly controlled shit unless you do it with a pharmacy that is linked by Satelite to all other branches...I know CVS is...
 
Well, YES and NO ..
Can you refill a script at another pharmacy then the pharmacy that filled it? Of course! The new pharmacy simply calls the issuing pharmacy and they say "yup, it's cool" - the script is now carried over to the new pharmacy..
Can you transfer *YOUR* script that you got online? SHIT NO! Those "online consult" places are NOT here to serve your medical health, they are here to sell drugs - see, they want to rape you for ALL REFILLS, they are not going to let you go to a local pharmacy and fill it for a few bucks, they want to charge you MANY times that... the new pharmacy might not even bother to call, if they did, and got a person (and not a vocie mail box) - that person would say "sorry, its not valid"..
