filling gel caps?

what's a good way to fill up mdma crystal in gel caps? perhaps something i can find in herbal/medical store and not internet? i already lost a few mg from capping it by hand :p
 
I fold an index card in half and pour material from that into the larger half of the gel cap. Get 000 gel caps and don't fill it all the way up. Also, pour it over a piece of paper or something else to catch spills.
 
i rolled up a recipt from something into a very thin funnel shape and taped it all round with sticky tape :P it lives in my jar of empty gel caps.
 
Use a scoopula! I have a nice small one for filling size 4 gel caps, it works perfectly. It fits right inside the capsule, and gives you a lot of control over how much powder you pick up. I bought it at my university science store.
 
index card or other suitably sturdy type of paper, preferably one that a lot will not stick to... just fold and tap it in....

i have a little scoop that i use, each scoop is pretty much exactly 25mg....
 
It's a nice idea, but I don't think a 00 size capsule filling machine is a very good idea. First, filling a 00 capsule will give you about 600-800 mg of MDMA!! Second, that method doesn't allow you to actually weigh how much powder goes into each capsule, so you pretty much need to fill them one at a time no matter what. Third, I have one of those machines that I use for bulk supplements, and they spill far more powder all over the place than filling them by hand, even if you were to cut the MDMA with an appropriate ratio of some other (inert or beneficial) powder.

I recently weighed out 30 caps of 100mg (+/-3mg) in about 20 minutes, and I haven't lost any MDMA with that method. Unless you're a big-time dealer, the amount of time you'd theoretically save by using a machine is inconsequential.
 
Small funnel will do the trick, weigh the gelcap first, then zero the scale, add the md, reweigh. You can get very accurate dosages this way.... AND capsules are waaay better than rizla...

You are correct. Using the machine as directed is impractical for our purposes.

But if you're filling up more caps than you'd personalyl need for a night out then the base of this machine is very handy. I've found working with gel caps for extended periods your hands do become very sweaty and begin to dissolve the outside. Or you could just wear gloves, but you should probably do that anyway.

If you're using a dropper or one of those little scoops Trilobite mentioned then go for a machine. You can lay out up to 50 empties then just scoop/drop away. No need to hold the cap steady in your hand every time.

You will get a better result if you leave the scales at zero with nothing on them and just subtract the weight of the cap in your head.

e.g.
empty cap weight = 20mg
desired amount of contents = 150mg

Fill the caps until you get 180mg reading. I point this out because a lot of digi scales I've used in teh past have a tendancy to zero themselves back to nothing with repeated weighings.

Personally if I'm only filling a few caps then I just grab a piece of paper or (really) thin card say about 50mm x 80mm folded partially nearest the 'delivery end'. I'll show you here.

Weighing/Handling molly

I finally got my milligram scale in and have a question regarding dosing the molly. How the hell do you handle this stuff? The crystals are so small and sticky(ish) and they get everywhere, making it very difficult to handle and put into gelcaps. What are your methods of dosing out molly without making a mess and losing valuable crystals?
 
Dolla dolla bill yo.

Lol no joke, put the molly your weighing on top of a dollar bill thats on the scale, and see the change in weight, then use the bill its on to just slide it into the cap.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. I had used a damn paper towel...way too porous to get anything accomplished.

Still isn't a perfect solution, but it's a lot better...
 
Ahh...I remember the other question I wanted to ask now. As far as handling molly, does the oils on our fingers ruin it? Some smaller crystals that get stuck on the dollar bill ill just dab with my finger and scrape them into the gelcap. Don't want to potentially be ruining everything.
 
store in a baggie in the freezer when not using the m as for weighting it use a scale mg scale (0.01g)

to put it in a cap there are many ways.

1. If you have small to very small caps and your m is powder then take the body part of the cap and stick it into the powder and lift it and repeat the m should compact in the cap and not fall out after awhile, this is not easy to do and takes practice, but this is probably the fastest method to use once you get good at it.

2. if you have bigger caps then get some glossy paper like those stupid ads they give out on the streets, or a pizza menu u get when you order a pizza. Glossy paper is important cause the m will slide of it. cut out a small rectangle the size of a baseball card or so and fold in the middle. put the paper on a scale weight out your dose and pour the m into the body part of the cap.

3. Make a rectangle piece of paper like above and fold oneside in towards you so one side is open and the other is closed and no m can fall out. Take the cap and scoop the m into it using the closed side of the paper as a wall.

There are many ways to do it it all depends on what size of caps you have tbh

I just cut a 200mg (by eye) line with a credit card and put it in a small piece of toilet paper to parachute (scooping it up with the same card). Couldn't be arsed getting it into a capsule.

Sometimes, I eye another 50 or 100mg and top up with another parachute.
 
uhh i always just put shit on TP, and wrapped it up afterwards.
you dont "watch for change" on the scale, you tare it. press the tare button, thats it. the fact that TP is porous wont matter.
