What do you think the chances of being busted are trying to refill a prescription if the prescription belongs to a member of your family with the same name as you? This would be for .5mg Xanax by the way, not the most suspicious of drugs...thanks
 
My ex boyfriend used to pick up my birth control pills and codeine at the pharmacy for me all the time (with different pharmacists etc)! And he never had a problem, so I doubt you would either.
 
I'll just throw another screw into the works here:
What if it's YOUR perscription for somethihnjg like Adderall or Ritalin, but your parents usually fill it, and your underage (16-1 8) ? then what?
 
Why make things so complicated? Unless this are out of place you will have NO PROBLEM... I have had scripts for Dilaudid (4mg), OxyContin (40mg, Duragesic (75ug/hr), and a ton of others... hell, for the last 2.5 years I have had an OxyContin script filled every month - NEVER have I been asked for ID ... as for benzos, I got 90 Klonopin (1mg) a month - never a problem... remember, with the exception of C-II shit, the techs usually fill it, even with the C-II shit (when the PharmD fills it) it's just tossed into the bin, when you come to pick it up they simply scan it and right it up - you give the name on the script and they fetch it ....
IF uopi were to be questioned, you can always saythat you're picking it up because the patient is to sick to leave the house... trust me, we would have people come in all the time picking up scripts that were obviously not there... a [racial slur] pickingup a script OBVIOUSLY for someone not of their race... guys picking up scripts for women, etc...
So don't worry, you wont be questioned... if you are, rely on your powers of bullshit...
[BACKGROUND - I was a pharmacy tech for almost a year, the senior tech for about 4 months bfore I quit.. I was even trusted with a key to the C-II cabinet]
 
Wasn't phoning in a script for a CIV (Xanax) how the Bush girl got popped in Florida? I could see phoning in for a CII but i think phoning in a CIV draws attention in a busy out-patient pharmacy
 
You think phoning in a CIV would draw more attention than phoning in a CII? You can't even phone in a CII in any state I've had mine filled in.
The Bush girl probably got busted because she made up her own prescription. We're talking about picking up legit scripts here.
 
I work @ a pharmacy. You should be ok. I rarely ever check for IDS, but I have to for C2 drugs, esp. for oxycontin. But for something like xanax you should be aight, and the fact that it is for a family member..

I think that you got it backwards. Or you just don't know what you are talking about. You can't ever call in a CII except in an emergency, and then a written script has to follow within 48 hours. CII's are such animals as morphine, oxycontin/codone, etc. CIV are phoned in all of the time. (by dr's. Don't try it on your own.)

Phone-in's -
Only doctors or doctors representives can phone shit in, so no, you can't say "gee, some Xanax would be nice" and dial up yer local walgreens .. well, technically you can but you gotta known what to say, not like the Bush chick ..
Picking up someone elses script-
This is a no brainer - now if it's a total strangers script you may have some problems as there is a chance the pharmacist will know the person - as in my case, the pharmacist knowns me because I am at the pharmacy a few time a month .. but if it's like a family members script you can simply say you[re picking it up for that person - no worries...
In regards to the LAW and DRUG SCHEDULES...
C-I = 100% fully illegal, such as LSD, heroin, MDMA, etc... the only way to get these (legally) is to obtain proper DEA paperwork (hint: it's NOT EASY unless you're a major university and EVERY MILLIGRAM must be accounted for)
C-II = legal but with a MASSIVE potential for abuse.. methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine, oxycodone, etc... these must be written on special triplicate prescription pads, there can be NO REFILLS for a C-II drug .. C-II drugs CAN be phoned in but there are HEAVY regulations on this - a written script must follow within 48 hours and the pharmacist WILL look up the doctors number and do a call-back verify .. in all, I have almost a year working in the pharmacy, over half that as a Sr. Tech - I also worked in the areas "narcotics heavy" store (thats the one store in the district that holds all the stuff the other pharmacies don't as it's so rare - ie 8mg Dilaudid) .. we had ONE C-II phone in and the patient was personally known - a terminal cancer patient that was prescribed more narcotics in a month then most of us will take in a life time ...
C-III to C-V = Phone ins are cool, refills are cool, etc... the only exception is hydrocodone, which many pharmacies are verifiying...

that's funny.. that freex he's a funny guy. anyway, I know some posts on here are just jokes, but it does seem to me that there are a lot of bigots on bluelight. maybe i'm the only one that has noticed this.
