HOw come everytime i smoke my body goes through a fight or flight response??

Physically my body goes through fight or flight.. racing heart, etc etc...

Nothing psycholgically sets this off

Mentally i just ignore it.... But before it has caused me to have panic attacks.....

I now smoke like once a week or every couple weeks..

Everytime i smoke its like my body goes into Fight or flight mode for no reason... most of the time i ignore it cause i know better..

I already cut down i used to smoke all day every day quit about a month ago and started smoking again recently... Im thinking about just giving it up... shit gives me anxiety most of the time and i think its just turning against me...

I should just accept its not working for me like it used to

Hmm, I think I know what you are describing. I get that feeling when I get massively stoned after a long break, it could be your tolerance is low and you are getting blitz'd. I imagine I lost that feeling from weed when I lost the feeling of cotton mouth.

Perhaps this could give you more insight. http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=464227

I used to get that way too. Everyone's body is different. Some people react by it making them relaxed, others get paranoid, some people's heart races, some people fall asleep. It all has to do with your chemical makeup.

Instead of ignoring your instinctive fight or flight response, use it and burn some energy. ie; run around, punch a punching bag, lift weights, clean[lawls].

maybe after you do that you won't have enough energy for a panick aattack.

^^^ right now..

i wish i could smoke more weed but availbility is big issue.. and i need my memory for my new job

and i need my memory for my new job

i'm high at work right now. no problems w/ memory...i think what i'm getting at is that weed affects everyone differently bla bla bla. shit's been said before. sounds like anxiety issues. idk, i know weed smokin is the shit but if it's causing adverse effects, why don't you just quit? if i got freaked every time i blazed, i really doubt i'd smoke all the time.

sorry you can't SWED tho; that does make me sad.

okay, weed deffinatly makes me slower, but as far as longterm damage, I don't think I've experienced any.

double major psyc/phil 3.26 GPA atm sophomore, I smoke everyday. I also work as an intern at a software company (not my field but w/e it pays to well to complain). That said, I don't go to class, do homework, study, or go to work high. Just be responsible.

to say weed doesnt effect memory is ignorant dude... seriously thats common sense..

only when your high though
