Fictional drugs.

Full bloom-Take your retared question and get the hell out of my thread. That has absolutley nothing to do with the topic. That "blue lily" must be some stellar shit if you thought your post was even halfway relevant.

Substance D from scanner darkly
The speed from Ursula k leguins lathe of heaven

I like the real old timey drugs that we can't get anymore, like before the FDA. Hey I gotta run down to the general store to pick up some morphine and ginger beer. Or a coke with cocaine .

Oh my wife is having her time of the month do you have any of that opium gum? Or that cure all hash milk.

Pre 1900s drug stores that's the American dream I want again.

The only fictional drugs I'm aware of was featured in cowboy bebop called "red eye" and it doesn't seem to be something I'd enjoy.

If I vote for trump will this be the America he makes great again?

Come to think of it, people who vote trump must not really think America is all that great?

Blue Nine from W. Gibson's Neuromancer.
Not a recreational drug, it was a chemical weapon that induced violent psychosis episodes.

I think it worth considering that when you go through the long list of ALL of the psychoactive drugs known, they actually only bind or modulate a handful of neurochemicals.

I suspect that NMDA antgonists were the last new class to be discovered.

But that isn't to say that new molecular targets aren't out there waiting to be discovered.

Atypical Deliriants are the newest since they can match or exceed datura but are far more chill to a crazy amount. It took the company who made zolpidem to get other lab groups to realise that Muscimol & Alcohol are GABAergic deliriants.

It fun watching weed users learn the hard way that Nutmeg & RC Cannabinoids are seen as deliriants because there CB1 full agonists.

I totally agree that many of the synthetic cannabinoinds are deliriants. One detail is that many of them are not CB1 selective. The first ones were but as the synthetically simple CB1 ligands began to come under legal control, suppliers switched to other synthetically simple compounds - many non-selective.

I don't know much about nutmeg but muscimol appears to have a unique action. I notice how many people compare it to 'a waking dream' i.e. they were aware of their surroundings, but the emotional response alters. Interesting stuff.

'The farthest shore" book of Ursula Le Guinn...i think the drug there was called "Hazeyia"...or some sort.....they chewed Hazeyia roots.....yes great writer.one of my favorite in this genre-sci fi or fantasy may be
