Hello, new to this site and admittedly a mild opiate user. I have never done heroin but have meddled with Oxycontin a bit and tend to stick with lower end pills such as Lorcet and such. In each case it was prescribed by a doctor though I do admit to taking the Oxycontin nasally a few times. Anyway, I have a few questions to ask and also a couple of points to make/scenarios to pose.

1. I have heard much about the new Oxycontin pills (OPs) and the overall hatred of them. I happen to live in Michigan and am about 30 miles from Canada. I heard that Canada (or Purdue) has stuck to the original OC formulation there and was wondering if this was true?

2. If true, what would stop people close to the border from gaining their prescription in the States and driving a small distance to Canada to get the original OC Oxycontin pills? Assuming they have a prescription, I don't see how this would be illegal even if noticed by border patrol.

3. Assuming again that Canada still sells the originals, what would stop any other American from just using a legitimate Canadian online pharmacy to obtain these pills with a valid prescription? I know it is a pain to wait the extra time and all but seeing how everyone hates the OP pills so much I think it would be worth it.

4. Lastly, I think everyone is so upset and focused on finding some miracle fix for defeating the new pills that they probably have not considered these options. To be honest, I know many sell their pills illegally and imagine the rate at which one could sell them if they did obtained them in either way.

Just a thought or two. Thanks for reading and any replies.

This really isn't OD material. Its too close to sourcing and doesn't have harm reduction value. Take a look at the posting standards link in my signature for more information on what belongs and doesn't belong in OD.
