Few questions on two drugs: Hydrocodone and Hydroxine.

Sup guys, first post ever. Long time lurker. So I got prescribed 20 7.5/750 hydrocodone/APAP and 60 a month hydroxine. The hydroxine is an anti-histamine (like benadryl) taken for anxiety. Any recreational use? And I've been taking 2 hydro's a day, how long should I wait for my tolerance to drop down to nothing? Last thing, is it okay to insufflate 3 pills of hydro for an awesome high? thanks in advance!
 
Hydroxyzine is an a sedative antihistamine which can be used to potentiate opiates like hydrocodone. Usually a dose of about 50mg hydroxyzine is taken before the opiate dose.

You don't probably have a significant tolerance if you take only two 7.5mg hydrocodones a day. A recreational dose for a non-tolerant person would be something like 30mg orally or insufflated.
 
You do not want to insufflate the hydrocodone. Think about it, about 5% or less of those pills is the active ingredient so you'd have to snort a MASSIVE amount of bullshit to get what you're after. Your nose would get clogged with APAP long before you got high on hydrocodone not to mention how unpleasant it'd be snorting that much APAP.

Hydrocodone has a very high oral bioavailability so just stick with that route. Also if you take larger doses of the hydrocodone like polymath suggested, please cold water extract because taking that much APAP (over 3-4g/day or 2g at one time) is terrible for your liver.

As was mentioned, hydroxyzine can be useful to potentiate opioids but isn't really recreational on its own.
 
Do not snort the hydrocodone pills because they contain APAP, it would be unpleasant and there would be little if any high because the hydro wouldn't find its way through the mucous membrane with all of the APAP. With hydro, taking it orally is best. I don't know what your tolerance is, but if you have no opiate tolerance I recommend 15 mg hydrocodone orally. Opiate tolerance drops fairly quickly, spacing out doses with several days in between is much more effective in keeping a low tolerance as well as preventing physical addiction. Hydroxyzine is an anti-histamine, yes, good for nausea and mild insomnia, or opiate "potentiation" if you like using anti-histamines with them, personally I don't at all, because I enjoy the effects of the histamine that the opiate causes to be released.
 
I totally snorted it, and it's awesome. I snorted 15 mg's hydro at one time. In a week I'll just pop em with the hydroxine. Thanks for the input! It's a mellow happyness, I love it
 
hydro and oxycodone have a higher BA when used orally. That combined with the FACT and APAP is both crap for the body, AND hellish to snort <snip>

Come on guys, there is no reason for harsh tones. BDD is not a pissing match.


The fact is APAP is a bad thing to snort, yes. Hydrocodone has an higher oral BA than when insufflated, yes. But there is no reason anyof you should be talking like this to one another. I am disappointed in all of you.
