Few Questions Buproprion

350mg Wellbutrin XL

I cut the pill in half and painstakingly broke it down with a razor, screwdriver, shaving cream bottle, you name it. It wasn't easy lol

Never dabbled with this before so i snorts half of the total powder, so I insufflated roughly 175mg (+ or -).

First impression whilst snorting:
"Wait, I hope this isn't the Comet I had out."
Finished the pull and the burn only intensified. It was nearly unbearable, it's not the burn of a filler. It's like the molten talons of Gollum clawing through your nose and making it collapse.

Within three seconds my nostril was completely swelled
Shut on the inside. It surprised me
How fast the swelling came.

After Ingestion:

Immediately went to go smoke a cigarette and sip my beer in the garage. Three or four drags in and I can't fucking take it anymore, I have to get this mucus spawning devil out of my nose. I broke my cardinal rule and blew my nose after insufflation. But surprisingly almost instantly my nose stopped producing and began opening up. I believe these anti abuse fillers may actually
Be on to something if that's the case.

Initially I was a bit bummed for wasting the line, but I must say perhaps I got lucky and enough has passed. The first ten minutes or so was just incredibly weird. Like "tripping weird". Things were just weird.

Now probably 15-20 minutes later I am way relaxed and typing away on here focused as all hell.


My Questions!
1, is oral roa still producing "recreational" affects?
2 am I correct in describing (at least my experience) Wellbutrin as a pseudo psychedelic substance that also strangely resembles stims?

I'm not twacked out by far, but I do feel a little mental effects as well.

As evident through reading this the biggest thing I can come away with thismtemos "weird". Things are just weird, not good not bad. Weird.

If you cut this down it might make for a decent little trip report.

Now, bupropion (Wellbutrin) is a relative of amphetamine, but I feel it's safe to say that it lacks recreational value and you would be the first (that I've heard) to describe it as psychedelic in effect. I have some experience with bupropion. I've been prescribed it (300mg po daily) and have thusly tried to abuse it on a few different occasions when absolutely nothing else was available.

I've tried insufflating that same 300mg dose a handful of different times. It was never a "pleasant" experience, but my need for drug-adventure spurred me to try it more than once. About 10-15 minutes after admin I got a slight stimulant buzz that had some qualities of amphetamine, but by 45 minutes in, I was back to baseline with annoying "anti-depressant" style effects lingering for several hours. All in all, I can see why you might want to abuse bupropion if you were in prison, but I would much rather just smoke a joint then deal with this garbage
 
You nailed it. The pseudo psyched feeling i believe is result of abusing an anti depressant lol. But I agree, it's like a good stim if you just need 15 minutes of feeling go get em and don't favor nasal breathing
lol.

I have a bottle I came across. Won't be doing that again. All in all was a good experiment, despite the not so desirable effects.
 
The only people I've seen abuse Bupropion are people who are in prison cause along with other shitty meds that's all they can get. It's not a rec drug by any means. Christ just go buy some weed.
 
No need for the derision. I wasn't hard up looking for a cheap high. Christ' sake I have Benadryl for that if need be. I was just interested in this substance, as there are not very many reports on it yet a lot of questions.
