Few questions about Tramadol

Hi I have a few questions about tramadol

First off i tried it two days ago i had 50 mg pills i took 2 of them and waited for ages and nothing happened so i took another 50 mg and i was still waiting like hours i thought i could feel the warm feeling for a minute while i was waiting but it was gone so as i was lieing in bed i just closed my eyes but still couldnt get sleep then after a long wait I think about 3 hours and something it took for it to kick in is this normal for it to take this long? I felt the opiate warmth and eurphoria but it wasnt very good I have had codeine before and was expecting tramadol to be better the way everyone went on about it but i still managed to get some sleep.

And now two days later I am trying it again I took them about an hour ago And have felt a slight warmth hopefully not the peak and wondering how long do they take to kick in and is it a good idea to blaze weed on them I have had about 5 spliffs today and an hour ago I swallowed 3 50 mg pills and blazed a spliff and I'm wondering will the spliff ruin the expeience and over power the tramadol? I have blazed weed on codeine before and loved it.

Oh I almost forgot swim had a few keys of mephedrone of his mates earlier but this was hours ago swim was wondering if this would effect this high as he still cannot feel much from this tramadol and is finding them very dissopointing.

tramadol shouldnt take more than an hour to kick in.. If 3 didn't work for you last time, try more this time. Also Dont use the SWIM here, its against the rules. IMO the weed should make the experience better if anything. I use a lot of opiates and I think weed potentiates them personally. I love the combo of a good blaze/nod... anyways good luck happy dosing

Yh but these are my last 3 so i just took them all But i dont understand how it isnt a strong does because I have a very low opiate tolerance as well

I'm not sure, at a time when I had no opiate tolerance 4 50mg tramadol would have me in a nod, everyones body is different tho, I'm a 110lb female

Some people efficiently metabolize tramadol into its stronger metabolite (o-desmethyltramadol? Maybe) while other do not. Perhaps you are one who does not. Or perhaps your tolerance is higher than you think.

Well I have had the warm sensation but its not very strong defo not as good as codeine I have given up on tramadol now lol

When playing with tramadol be carefull, 400 mg is the recommended daily dose, the more you take the more you lower your seizure threshold so the more you take the more chances you have of a seizure.

As twotoomany said, you may not have the correct enzymes to metabolize tramadol. Something like 1/3 of people don't. Tramadol does shit all for me, personally, while I have friends who love it. Guess I don't have the correct hepatic allomorphism either.

Tramadol can take several hours to be completely demethylated into o-desmethyltramadol, the much more potent metabolite of tramadol. Smoking cannabis on tramadol is fine, but I would hold off until you're at your peak.

Tramadol also has never given me any of the euphoria or positive opiate/opioid effects either, ever. Even codeine is better for me (or was once upon a time). Tramadol does give me (at higher doses) a very weird feeling though, almost anxiety feeling. It has never ever been beneficial for me as far as making me tired or if I need to sleep.

thats wrong.

tramadol can take a minimum of 3 hours to metabolise into its active, sometimes longer in different people.

whether uts instant or extended release is irrelevant also.

Oh I didn't know that I think it takes about 3 hours to fully release on me
