Na, when you get as old as him and me you have everything materialistically you need. Anything Xmas pressie is just clutter and needs dusting, so no thanks.

Of note, I got a ticket to the Foo Fighters in June & I got myself some AKG K451 headphones. Other than that, just the usual stocking fillers as such... alas no socks. :D

You can get many of the classics for free... or Amazon sometimes have sales on books... I got the Life of Pi for 2p.

I'm not actually sure which one it is, just says Amazon Kindle. I'm very impressed with the whole look of the text and features such as the dictionary and being able to change text size etc. Lovely looking display
Project Gutenberg has about 46,000 out of copyright books for free which you can put on a kindle.

I love my kindle paperwhite, had it since about July and am about 4 books off finishing my 100th on it (although I've been off sick for about four months now so I'm reading a lot). Before I got it I read about three books a year. My old man has had an OG kindle for ages now, so I upgraded his to a paperwhite for Christmas this year too, he's well happy.
