1.) How much water should be mixed in with the H? From my reading up on here, it appears the H my dog gets is "number 3" - it is a brown powder (but it comes in one solid chunk - which I hear is good - less likely it's been stepped up more). I know it varies from shot to shot based on amount of H, but let's say for a .1 a gram shot? She normally does 50-60cc in a 1ML, 30 gauge tool.

2.) Any other sites aside from the obvious (upper forearm/lower bicep area)? My dog has tried his hands, and feet, as the veins there are very fat and visible, but they are too sensitive (so she says), and always like roll out of the way of the needle.

3.) My dog is correct in that there is no need to apply heat - simply add water, and mix up until you have a consistent brown pool in the utensil?

My dog being a complete noob, and literally just booting up a handful of times, wants to ensure everything is being done proper to get the most out of her gear, and for harm reduction purposes. This site has been very helpful, along with the posters. Much gratitude.

I don't IV but I have read up on it a good amount, mostly from website. So I will tell you what I can since no one else answered yet. Cant help you with #1. But honestly I am confused, 1mL = 1 CC, you would not e using 50-60 cc, that is about 2 fl oz. If you are using a 1 mL syringe, and filling it up about halfway, then you are using ~.5 cc

as for #2. I 'd say stick to the easy to hit veins until you get better at it. The hands and particularly the feet veins are known for rolling. Also don't use the feet because they are a breeding grounds for bacteria and fungus. If you are using them then wash them thoroughly and don't put a shoe or dirty sock back on after shooting.

#3. The majority of people on this site will say do not heat the solution. The heat needed to make a difference would cause for lost product and heat also allows the water to absorb more of the cut in your H. Get a wheel filter and it will filter out way more bacteria than you will kill by heating the solution up to around 190-200F.

thanks RT. the syringes are 100 "units," and they say "1ML/cc." She usually fills them up with 50-60. The most common sized insulin syringe is what they are.

Ya so when a diabetic says they take like 50 units of their Lantus or whatever insulin(s) they take, that is how much they use, like half the 1 mL sringe.

I always used the least amount of water possible. Smaller shots are faster and easier to complete than large ones, reducing your chances of missing some or all of it.

I didn't think #3 was ready to inject, but I've never seen it. Maybe someone else can chime in.

You could try smoking it instead of injecting it, especially if you have #3?

well for me, I get my heroin in stamped bags, its powder heroin, and it weighs .1g on the scale, I use .10CC of water for each bag, if im shooting 5 bags (which is more or less a half a gram) ill use 50-60CCs on the needle. I go by using 10CC per bag..

the internet is the only place where I hear of people using micron/wheel/special filters. even at the needle exchange program, they give out special cottons for IVing heroin, I would of figured since its a HR one stop shop, they wuld be available or atleast promoted...I never had to use heat to dissolve my heroin in water, all of it dissolves completely, after I suck up all the solution, there very very minimal left over cut outside the cotton, like a few specks...a 1ML syringe goes up to 100cc's on needle, a 1/2ML Syringe is known as a "half cc syringe" where it only holds 50cc's of water..heroin is better used with half cc needles, as you need less powder/drug to get high, and the suction is better when in veins...
