feverish feeling for days after doing speed.

I have been doing speed on and off for about 8 years. Never IV tough.
The last few times after doing speed i feel sick and feverish for a few days. Its a really uncomfortable feeling.
I have never felt like this before afterwards so im starting to suspect that my dealer is cutting his shit with something nasty.
Any ideas.
 
Just my opinion here, but if you've been doing speed that long, you really should learn how to clean up your product. It's not hard. That's along time to be putting your trust in other manufacturers and dealers. Your bound to run into some junk...especially with speed.

Wait...was this the first time you IVed?
How do you do it? Smoke/snort/oral/IV?
I'm guessing that you usually get meth made from pseudoephedrine or really clean stuff made from ephedrine, and this time you got some impure meth made from ephedrine that has a lot of the ephedrine left in it. Snorting, smoking, or IVing ephedrine will make you feel like shit and give a 'feverish' feeling, among other effects.
Or, it could just be that you happen to get sick, and that's why you are feeling feverish.

If by speed, he means Amphetamine as opposed to meth, then that stuff is a lot harder to clean than meth...

Recently I too have felt feverish for several days following meth use. It has caused me to cut my usage down a lot. I have only done meth for half a year and already feel somewhat burnt out, I couldn't imagine doing it for 8.
