festivals 2010

I saw Rockness advertised on the tele earlier, half considered going because I really wanna go to a festy this summer, checked ticket price and it's not cheap. To the folk who have been, is it good? Guessing it's a ned-fest?

Canna really be arsed being surrounded by a bunch of cunts for 3 days.
 
Nah Spadey, I've met some really cool and interesting people at Rockness. The line up is top draw aswell! :D One of the best settings for a festival I've seen! Was a bit annoying last year as the moved the main stage forwards slightly. It used to be further back with the loch right behind it. It still looked fucking class though!! %)

Theres always going to be a few beauts at a festival. Quite a few people I don't like will be going but not usually any trouble at Rockness. Not worth ruining a good weekend over some petty argument. :)
 
just booked tickets to the sanctuary in south derbys, never heard of it before maself but the line up looks good; chase an status, skibadee, dj hype, dillinja....august bank hol wkend
 
Aye Captn the setting would be great, can you go for a swim in the loch? I bet you can't. :(

Didn't take much arm twisting but looks like I'm going for 2 nights Sat/Sun. Think I'll just go mad on Saturday and take it easy Sunday. We'll see :)

Nah mate. Theres fences all round the field! It's always usually the best weekend of the year here weather wise tho! %)

Loads of cool people too, lots of old hippies and trippy people. I started getting the crack with an old dude from Derby 2 years ago... ended up going back to his tent where he had 3 oz of MDMA and 5 oz of coke... That was at 11am, what a nick I was in when I made it back down to mates and in to festival :D

Had some crazy guy come to our tent last year or the one before.. was tripping out his box, lost all his friends, and shat himself =D we let him change in my mates tent who was sleeping in exchange for some hash hahaha! He left the shitty boxers in the tent too, matey wasn't a happy loon when he woke up!! :D

Quality line up ever year I've been aswell, seen Prodigy, Underworld, Fatboy, Orbital, Soulwax, Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, Chemical Bro's, Daft Punk............ all at Rockness.

Def the place to be next weekend Spadey! ;)

So far I'm hitting Rockness, Amsterdam or Creamfields, I Love Techno... Want to hit another couple of festivals too I think, just not sure which ones! :)

LMAO!! Is that some nostalgia seeping out your arse from your childhood years in those dodgy estates mate? I bet theres a fair bit of seepage still to come from all those porkings over the grit bin after youth club ;)

Alright, doubt I'll actually go, ticket price is too steep. Might still se about Wickerman or one of the small ones. Just want a cheap piss / mash up in the sun with a few mates.
