Just back from the ONLY major Irish music festival of the summer. It was literally impossible to get pills or any type of drug for that matter. Loads of weed. There was some crap pills (question marks). Friends of friends camped near dealers and they still could not get any good stuff.

Surely this is not the norm?
Bear in mind it was their first festival and they weren't sure what to expect. They could not bring any pills due to heavy security.
In fact, they were asked if they had any by loads of festival goers so they were not the only one's on the lookout. They also asked certain festival goers if they knew anyone who was selling but no such luck.

Quite strange and did but a dampener on the weekend!
 
i went to creamfields and it was easy as piss to get MDMA, everyone was selling it same with some good pills too. but weed was impossible to find, couldn't get any all weekend. so it was like the exact opposite of your problem.
 
Thats why its always best to get ahold of your goods before hand rather than rely on whats on offer there

I don't get how people enjoy weed at a festival it just makes everyone seem like they are in my face and I just want to sit down. Espeicllay when rolling, it takes over my high and makes it very wierd - i feel as if it spaces me out and i forget what ive just spoken about. EDIT: I dont smoke it on comedowns either

Agreed with Molly, always get your stuff beforehand! I wouldn't trust getting pills off randomers.

Weed is a necessity for festivals though. You can't beat a nice wake and bake in a tent, plus having a spliff for the come downs.

Chesh man, I was there and would of shared with ya! Deffo needed for that Sunday morning.

yeah i had some but i smoked it all on the friday night with some valium when i realised the silent disco was shite. on the saturday and sunday we walked through most of green camp just shouting "anyone selling weed?" but no results :(

ketamine got me and all my mates through the sunday. did you stay for all of the sunday or go home?

That sucks man! Yeah we stayed till Monday. We got buzzing then when that ran out hit the K like you guys. It was pretty fun and pretty trippy, this guy couldn't handle it though and went a bit mental. I had to carry him back to his tent, which was funny mission, in the mud. How was it in the camping area? I could hear sick music and partying from a distance and wanted to join but in the end got too fucked up as well. Ah, it sucks being back at home.
 
yeah there were some people with boomboxes playing music and they'd just end with with a mini rave around them. people wanted music. but mostly everyone was just fucked, and because loads of people had left there was so much shit to scavenge, we ended up with shit loads of chairs, a gazebo, some airbeds etc. it was awesome. lots of mud as well.

loads of mates tried k for the first time on the sunday too. we were mostly bumping it though.

Things are not like the old days when everyone was doing E. Now you have to arrive at the club/festival/rave with tested drugs. Last week I was out and I was asked a few times for pills...it's not the first time and I'm like wtf don't you guys sort out your drugs pre-club? Old days there would always be a dealer in the club, maybe a few. Now, there's none or it's very hard to find.
 
I always go prepared, couldn't face having to risk buying in a venue. Festival I went to the other week a guy got done buying Mandy, tested it and it checked out, bought a gram and was given brown sugar! Felt for him so gave him a white speaker!
