fest heads<3

tryptamino, so much truth in what you said. lately all my moneys gone to is festival tickets and dope. hahahah. such is the life. i was supossed to get to eforest this summer, but the tickets sold out faster than i could get my shit together. burning man shoud be an awesome experience, you'll have to tell me what the playa is like.

professor, a lot of the ones i go to are edm with some jam bands thrown in. nothing big name, mostly underground artists.
 
You guys should really check out the contour fest in Jackson if you're nearby though. Great fucking lineup and the backdrop is the most beautiful place in the world: the Tetons, bright starry sky, and camping galore. Sorry just trying to promote the growing scene in the state I was born: the wyo :). Polish, thievery, emancipator, Deltron, papadosio, Yezzir. plus that county's law enforcement and any security present will be a joke.

also, what do you think of dosio? ive seen them a couple times, and its been hit and miss. i swear last ttime i saw them play it was like a two hour long tuning sesh. the time before was fucking incredible. weirddd.
 
Yeah I feel you on the hit and miss. The last couple times I've seen them have been ON POINT though. And I love their studio work.

Nope, not missouri. Jackson Hole, Wyoming. One of the most beautiful gems of nature this world has to offer. Up by Yellowstone National Park.
 
I love techno festivals although I've been to a few psytrance festivals. I prefer the ones without camping because, well, I hate getting dirty and the outhouses and stuff. I need to go back to my place or a hotel or whatever and shower and all that.
 
damn. thats allll the way on the otherside of the country for me, soulgasm. should be a nice fest though, with the few people you mentioned.

llama, dude, hahah thats all a part of the experience though! gettin' dirty, bathing with babywipes, you know, its all a part of it. although honestly, i could definitely go without the gnarly portopotties. but thats cool, the ones youve been to are strictly just techno? who are some artists? and id love to get out to the midwest and experience a psy-party. they always seem so awesome.
 
I could go for a psytrance fest atm. Shpongle, tipper, and phutureprimitive will have to do this summa :). That new shpongletron setup they got is BOSS.
 
im seeing phutureprimitive at disc jam this june! second time seeing them which is gonna be fucking illlll. tipper is the love of my life. i love hooping to some tipper.

LOL I know it's part of the experience. I've done it a few times. I hate it. I can't just NOT shower in the morning lol. I'm OCD. I know everyone else is okay with it but I hate greasy hair and sweat lol. I need my shower. I love the events where I can go to a party for a day/night, come home and shower and sleep in a comfy bed, and do it again the next day. :) I'm good with admitting the camping experience isn't for me.
Ahhh I've got to festivals where it's just techno, or there is techno and EDM and I don't even go to the EDM stage, ones where there is techno and psytrance, and also just psytrance. Some bigger names.... Paco Osuna, Luciano, Jay Lumen, Mark Knight, Dubfire... to name a few. The psy events, they don't have big well known names. They are so chill and I love the environment except the dirty part. Quite a few in Northern Ontario :)

but i totally get it, the few indoor/ hotel fests ive been too were wonderful. although there does come a point where i felt too "domesticated". a big queen size bed in the middle of a deep k-hole is like heaven. sketchy though tryna find and remember what your room number was. gets a little wonky at 3 am when everythings melting into one. the camping thing is one of the things i like.

and cool dude, ill have to check those artists out. i believe the only one ive heard of is dubfire. and also, your from canada? shambalas up there right? thats one fest id LOVE to get down at. im assuming by the way you talk you guys got a good electronica scene up that way?

tickets are pretty expensive this year, like 120$ i think. but i couldnt imagine not going, ya know? that place is like home.

i made a totem last year that said "show me your kitties!"

had a guy stroll into my camp being like yo you nees kizzle? he was the on person who got it. if you go dude we should have festivities commence.
