Fergie quit drugs after talking to God

It seems like mind is just a hologram that's there one minute and then gone the next. It's completely transient, unfixed, and subjective. When you're born someone tells you that you're a "you", followed by all the language and logical constructs that form the basis for your perception of this "you". Then society reaffirms that "you" exist over and over again by giving you countless references to it. If you apply some inqury to self-hood, you'll eventually realize it's untested, unproven, and non-existent.

It can be turned on or off with something like meditation. You can remain awake but "you" is gone. Then when you cease meditation, "you" returns, relativistically. I do believe that there is some kind of core consciousness - a seed, if you will - that remains constant from the day you're born to the day you die, that is pure Being without action or reaction, but it's impossible to really be that until you still mind and ego. It is without words. It is pure silence. As soon as you apply a label to it, you're engaging in mind and the essence of it has been whited out with noise. People rebel against mind not existing, but only until that mind is stilled and they soon remember there is no real rebellion involved at all. There was only a holographic ego fighting to assert its realness, until it was stilled into Emptiness again.
