fentynol in black tar....my son died and i have a question

My son, a 27 year old artist, ncaa hockey player and college graduate overdosed in huntington beach on october 23rd leaving behind his fiance who is due in 2 weeks with my grandson. He started in boston with oxy due to injury and we battled for 4 years with his addiction. In rehab he was introduced to H which can easily kill you, where as the oxy just made him lose his soul.....I know there are responsible users, but for whatever reason he could not be responsible and would always cross lines. Im rambling i apologize....my question, I just got back the autopsy report and they found fentynol but not heroin in his system? Is that possible? I found a sample of what he was using and it looks just like a rat poop size of black tar. Can i get this tested and how?
 
Look up how to test heroin I'm sure there are test kits online available for this. It is MORE than possible that fent was in his dope because thats how fucked up and money hungry some dealers have become, by putting Fent in they raise the potency by a lot and so many people will assume that it's stronger heroin but it's not, it's cut
 
Yes, fentanyl being sold as opiates, or being used to adulterate opiates, has become increasingly more common since as of 2012 from what I have noticed, regardless that it had been discovered much before that.

As a parent, I am so sorry that you lost your son. IDK if he was an addict, if so, I know that his untimely death could have been something that you anticipated with deep dread for years.
 
I as well am very sorry to hear about your sons death. I have lost my 24 year old son as well. We are waiting for the autopsy results.We were called to identify him, and I new my son smoked weed.But was not knowing his use for H if that truly was what it was. Detectives have taken over case they are thinking foul play but have done nothing to inform us of anything.constantly playing phone tag with my husband. I.have heard of fent but did not know that it could be in H. I was hearing from other kids that so many young kids snort it. I was not aware of that either. My sister used to be a heroin addict and OD many times guess she had 9 lives. Because I was told he just fell asleep . Has anyone heard that before. The people I've seen during an overdose it was quite a site. But his friends that were there said they didn't know because he just fell asleep like nodding? If anyone knows this to be true I would love to hear.
 
It's true. I am 24. I overdosed when I was 20. It was an accident, I took too much at once and was feeling really high then I fell asleep/nodded out sitting up on my bed. My boyfriend woke up and was trying to wake me up but couldn't. He called 911 and they instructed him on how to give me cpr. I was in a coma for 3 days... doctors told my family I could very likely be brain dead. But thank god I wasn't and I'm alright now. So sorry to hear about your son. Also I used for over a year before my parents found out. They only found out because I got careless and I shot up before I took a shower and came out and my mom was like "what's going on... 15 min ago before you got in the shower your eyes didn't look like that"
