Hi, I new here so I'm not really sure how this works, so if this isn't the right place to post this question please don't come for me just let me know. Anyways. I want to detox off fentanyl but I do not want to be on Suboxone or Subutex or methadone,( I have tried these methods before and they have worked and are very helpful,) I'm just honestly tired of being tied down and just want to completely cleanse my life of any kind of dependant medication as crazy as that sounds. Anyways my question is has anyone tried to wean themselves off of fentanyl and succeed or has anyone tried to sleep off the worst of the withdrawal with the help of Xanax or weed or things along that line?

I'd recommend Kratom for short term use along with Xanax and weed

I tried to wean off fentanyl and failed and ended up on subs. Now tapering from morphine. You can try to taper and if that don't work maybe a clinic will do a fast taper with subs or methadone. Weed could make your symptoms worse so be careful. I would suggest going to a clinic(depending where you live) and explain that you want a fast taper. won't be completely pain free. If that isn't an option can you get any suboxone or methadone? I know you hate them , i do to but just tapering street fent isn't going to be easy.

Every time i've rushed to get clean i have relapsed. Tapering street fent is hard. If you can't do it don't be discouraged , most can't without the help of some comfort meds.
Can you get lyrica or a few benxos? Clonidine helps also
